Back in the Days....circa 2002-2005

Wow, what a difference a few years makes. I was just looking through some old back up files for some photos and found these beauties:

My first day as a Flight Attendant - EVER....wow don't I look innocent......

Meeting up with my boss. Just another day at the office.

My name printed on an overhead locker on one of the airlines planes. It was their 50th aircraft and in celebration they placed ALL staff members names on the overhead lockers. As far as I know this aircraft is still in existence with names still on board.

Oh and one of the stops for the Airbus 380's first promotional tour in Australia was Brisbane. Doesn't it look grand?

Where have the days gone?

Woweee, have I really let 3 weeks pass without a post? Man, I guess life is what happens when you are not blogging right? Nah, seriously with the aftermath of Cuba (of which I am still recovering mentally and physically), back to work with a busier than normal schedule of which I am standing in for my boss lady, and a problem with my technology in general (I have been drooling over the 24 inch IMAC desktop of late as a replacement to my aging, but sufficient lappie), it has been almost a chore to even consider popping by here to drop a few words. However don't despair, I have lots coming your way, including a trip to the US next week for training, and my plans for my holiday back home to Australia in the coming weeks. Also I am still working on the footage from my amazing holiday of the year in Cuba as I am dying to share with you, a slice of what I was apart of on my trip there in February (maybe the IMAC would be good afterall...hmmmm maybe it will just fit nicely in my suitcase home from the US....I'll keep justifying it's purchase til it is sitting on my shelf!).

Best be off, I am heading off to a Saudi Ladies Party this evening, my first of it's kind. Hopefully it will open the door for me to be invited to my first Saudi Wedding, of which I am dying to get into.

I have also edited my post on Cuba with contact details and the name of the company we went through for our salsa holiday in February. I have been inundated with requests for the details and am pleased to say that Kerry from Key2Cuba is using some of our photographs for their publicity for their next trip starting in August. My goal is to be back on their Valentines trip again next year, with a little more practice and Spanish under my belt!

Oh on a final note, today I borrowed a friends car to go to the supermarket and I got in the right hand side and sat down.....wondered where the steering wheel had gotten to. Silly billy. In preparation for my trip back home I wonder.....

Have a good week and touch base again very soon!
